The 17th of February saw the latest seminar in the InterSME series, on the topic “Handling Crisis and Change as an SME”. Three speakers gave their views and perspectives over breakfast at UniCredit in Central, from left Mr. Argha Sen of food startup Gormei, Mr. Totti Karpela of security consultancy Peace of Mind Ltd, and Mr. Stefano Passarelo of People & Projects.
The seminar was moderated by our own Mr. Joshua Miller of Okay.com. Said Mr. Miller about the event:
“Change management is a critical skill for an organization, particularly during times of crisis. The ability to quickly react to – or even intentionally plan for – a shock to the business is what separates businesses that succeed from those that struggle. Scenario planning, outsourcing and creating a management culture of change and adaptability are all ways to achieve this.
Thank you to all the speakers – the amount of change management experience in the room was impressive, and I’m sure the attendees left with significant food for thought that will hopefully lead to actions that improve their businesses. Also thanks to the Italian Chamber of Commerce for organising the event.”
Joshua, together with Ove Jøraas, represents Norwegian Chamber in InterSME, the SME platform of InterCham. More photos from the event can be found here
